Humans continued.

Humans continued

An ensemble cast - When many different characters play roles and it is difficult to point out the protagonist, as there are over 20 character archetypes.

There are many story arcs in humans:
- The Hawkins Family
- Leo trying to find Anita
- George and Odi
- Flashback to Leo and Anita Travelling
- Nishca in the brothel
- Fred in the Plantation
- The Synths in the warehouse being produced
- Detective Drummond finding his wife wife a Synth
- Anita kidnapping Sophie

Much like Butler Van Zoonen suggests gender is constructed by a producer in a media product ad it reflects the values and ideologies of the time period it was produced in.

Leo's Confrontation:

Resembles a crime drama, shown through a close up of two heads in the same shot makes it look like Leo is threatening Sadiq. The mise en scene of Leo's unshaven face demonstrates that he doesn't care about his appearance - he is an outlaw. His vocal delivery is quite stern and blunt, sometimes it is hard to understand what he is saying. He also uses physical force against Sadiq by slamming his arm against the wall. He approaches Sadiq when he is vulnerable and back is turned of which suggests he is tactical. The binary opposition of the picture of Anita in Nature vs Leo against a dirty brick wall.

The story is set 'In medias res' - it is set in the middle of a story.
