The Persona Synthetics narrative allows audiences to experiences the narrative beyond the show. The packaging slip is a proairetic code for the show. The immerison of the twitter feed involves the audience outside of the show.
It is funded by Channel 4 and AMC (American Movie Channel).

Humans is shaped by the fact it is not a BBC show, it is a Channel 4 show instead. The fist film Channel 4 ever show was Large'dor in 1982. Each Channel targets a specific niche audience.

REPRESENTATION IS A CONSTRUCTION OF REALITY Charity Adverts  - The Purpose of a charity advert is to try and make you donate/get involve with the charity. - They try to encourage members of the public to agree with their ideology and establish a cause. -They want the audience to donate to the charity. - They use distressing images and sad music as a mode of address to 'guilt trip' the audience. - They are scheduled during the day between shows such as Jeremy Kyle or Homes under the hammer. These appeal to working class unemployed, new parents and the elderly. - We know it is a charity advert as they use a soft, sympathetic and comforting voices voice (conventions). - The use of sound is emphasised and direct address is used to appealed to the audience to make them feel bad and more likely to donate. - They make us feel like we have to donate. Radio is a SPECIALISED industry BBC have rebranded themselves from 'BBC Radio' to 'BBC Sounds". The BBC is an institution, we have certain expectations of quality, the BBC is also a public broadcasting provider. Target Audience: Age- 18-22 Gender- Female Class- Working class John Peal - DJ on the BBC and his show was renowned for doing as he pleased. Played many bizarre genre - didn't have a massive listening base, mainly devoted fans. had a lot of complaints for bad language. Zoe Ball is an established presenter and is therefore one of the most highly paid women by the BBC, people know who she is and her show is named after her. Each show has a thumbnail image on the BBC Sounds Website, of which presents the ideology of the show. The website is very simple and easy to navigate round.
