Death Stranding is an upcoming action game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and his reformed development studio after their disbandment from Konami in 2015. The game was announced at E3 2016 and has no set release date.
Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner, Troy Baker, Tommie Earl Jenkins and Emily O'Brien are set to star in the game, with motion capture, facial scannings and vocal performances. Film director Guillermo del Toroalso contributed his likeness to another character through facial and body scanning. The game's title is a reference to the cetacean stranding phenomenon.

Intentionally bizarre iconography, and completely lacking in genre conventions. Many invitations for active audiences to create 'fan theories' and to decided what they believe the game is actually about. however naturally, this can be disappointing for audiences who do not get what they expect. The actors that are used are famous A-List hollywood actors and their likeness being placed within the game suggest the production values within this game are very high. This game is sponsored mainly by sponsored by SONY, of which will mean it will be exclusive to the Playstation and likely to fail as a video game. It is a prestige picture. Little merchandising options, a direct contrast to Assassins Creed, ad little opportunity for DLC or multiple sequels. Immersive array of shot types, positioning the audience directly with Sam/Reedus. No cut scenes which means it is a single take of which would have exceptionally high production values and is extremely hard to achieve in a film, though possible through CG.

Advert Analysis 1 This advert was published when women played a stereotypical role in the household of a cleaning lady. It is aimed at middle class women who still do their own washing yet they have a solid income from their husbands and can afford for their clothes to look as good as new.  The way she is hugging the red box suggests it is her new love, that it is all she wants. The red box suggests that she relies on this product like she relies on a man. It is colourful and bright which suggests that the product will lead to a better, optimistic life. The advert is blunt with no hidden meanings, it suggest that she does the job - she is the washing machine. The advert has a lot of text, unlike modern adverts and the z line would miss out a lot of information.
